Stavnes lighthouse

Stavnes lighthouse lies on the north east end of Averøya at Stavneset. The lighthouse was first lit on September 1st 1842 and was run by families living there until it went automatic in 1976.

An easy hike in a landscape where you get a beautiful view of the ocean and Kristiansund city. On Sundays it is also served coffee and waffles by “Friends by Stvaneset”.
