Atlantic Ocean Road

Only 25 minutes by car from Sveggvika lies a tourist attraction you might have heard of – The Atlantic road.

The road is 8,3 km long and stretches over many smaller islands with a total of 8 bridges. When embarking on the Atlantic Road you will get a magnificent view over the ocean. Back in 2005 the road was given the award for The best norwegian construction of the century. In addition to this the road was also deemed the most beautiful road in the world and the best Norwegian tourist attraction by the Guardian in 2010.
